RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maximise sales revenues for the division.
• To work cross functionally to cultivate and expand business.
• Manage the sales activities for both proprietary and non-proprietary equipment sales. 
• Respond to client queries and 
visit clients to discuss proposal if necessary.
• Adherence to procedures, codes and standards 
• Oversee contracts from award to shipping.
• Generate proposals and estimates for clients.
• Oversee drawing and correspondence between Engineering Department and Client.
• Develop and help maintain a business development plan.
• Define and follow up of yearly targets and objectives.
• Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.
• Pro-actively hunt for target organizations and establish communications with those businesses that can benefit from our Company’s services.
• Forecast long and short-range market potential.
• Ensure that sales team is appropriately manned and staff are being developed and motivated 
• Lead and develop staff by identifying training needs.
• Provide direction, guidance to the department to ensure alignment with the Company’s strategies.
• Other duties, responsibilities, projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Knowledge and experience of technical sales.
• You must have in depth knowledge in the specification, design, bid evaluation
• A track record of repeated success in selling high quality manufacturing environment.
• Commercial acumen and advanced negotiation skills
• The tenacity and personal drive appropriate for winning new business
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self motivated, results oriented, attention to detail, flexible, cooperative team player and excellent interpersonal skills
• Personal impact and exceptional communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and strong sense of urgency is a must
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to work to time constraints and meet tight deadlines
